philbet Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how philbet collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information when you access and use the philbet platform. We are committed to handling your data with transparency and in full compliance with the Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012) of the Philippines.
Our Data Principles
How philbet Approaches Privacy
These six principles underpin every data handling decision at philbet — from registration to withdrawal processing to account closure.
Purpose Limitation
philbet collects personal data only for defined, specified, and legitimate purposes — account management, payment processing, regulatory compliance, and responsible gaming. Your data is not sold or used for unrelated purposes.
Data Minimisation
We collect only the personal information that is strictly necessary for the purposes for which it is collected. Requests for information beyond what is required for account operation or PAGCOR compliance will not be made.
Security by Design
philbet employs SSL/TLS encryption, access-controlled data infrastructure, and regular security audits to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Consent-Based Processing
Where processing your personal data requires your consent, philbet will obtain it clearly and directly. You have the right to withdraw consent for non-essential processing at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
Transparency
This Privacy Policy is written in plain, accessible English. philbet will not bury material data practices in footnotes or legal boilerplate. You have the right to know what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
Philippine Legal Compliance
philbet operates in full compliance with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), PAGCOR data handling requirements, and applicable anti-money laundering regulations that govern data retention for Philippine online gaming operators.

- "philbet," "we," "us," "our" refers to the philbet entity operating the platform at philbet.co under applicable Philippine gaming and data protection regulations.
- "Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person — including name, contact details, financial information, identity documents, and gameplay data — that philbet processes in connection with your use of the Platform.
- "Platform" means the philbet website at philbet.co, all associated mobile-optimized interfaces, and all services available through your philbet account.
- "Processing" means any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, recording, storage, use, disclosure, and deletion.

- "PAGCOR" means the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation, which regulates philbet's gaming operations and has authority to require disclosure of certain player data under Philippine gaming law.
2 Personal Data We Collect
philbet collects personal data in the following categories in connection with your use of the Platform:
Registration and Identity Data: When you create a philbet account, we collect your full legal name, date of birth, email address, Philippine mobile number, and a username and password of your choosing. This information is required to establish and maintain your account.
Identity Verification (KYC) Data: In compliance with PAGCOR regulations and the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) of the Philippines, we collect copies of government-issued identification documents — such as Philippine passport, driver's license, UMID, SSS ID, or PhilSys National ID — and may collect a selfie or liveness check for identity matching purposes. KYC data is required before withdrawal processing is permitted.
Financial Data: We collect details necessary to process deposits and withdrawals, including GCash account identifiers, bank account names and numbers (for BPI, BDO, Metrobank transfers), and masked card numbers where applicable. philbet does not store full payment card numbers. Full card processing is handled by certified third-party payment processors.
Transaction Data: We maintain records of all deposits, withdrawals, bonus credits, wagers, and game results associated with your philbet account. This data is retained for the periods required by PAGCOR and AMLA regulations.
Technical and Device Data: When you access philbet, we automatically collect IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, session identifiers, and platform access timestamps. This data is used for security monitoring, fraud prevention, and service optimization.
Responsible Gaming Data: If you use philbet's responsible gaming tools — such as deposit limits, cooling-off periods, or self-exclusion — we record these preferences and their effective dates. This data is used to enforce your self-imposed restrictions.
Communications Data: Records of your communications with the philbet support team, including live chat transcripts and email correspondence, are retained for quality assurance, training, and dispute resolution purposes.
3 How We Use Your Personal Data
philbet processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Account Management: To create, maintain, authenticate, and administer your philbet account, including login verification and account security.
- Payment Processing: To process deposits and withdrawals through GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, and other supported payment methods, and to detect and prevent fraudulent payment activity.
- Regulatory Compliance: To fulfil obligations imposed by PAGCOR licensing requirements, the Anti-Money Laundering Act, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and any other applicable Philippine legislation. This includes retaining transaction records, verifying player identities, and reporting to regulatory authorities as required by law.
- Responsible Gaming: To implement and enforce the responsible gaming restrictions you set on your account, to monitor for signs of problem gambling, and to comply with philbet's regulatory responsible gaming obligations.
- Service Delivery: To deliver the games, promotions, customer support, and other services that constitute the philbet Platform, and to personalize your experience based on your gameplay history and preferences.
- Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized account access, payment fraud, bonus abuse, and other activities that may be harmful to philbet or its players.
- Marketing Communications: Where you have provided explicit consent, to send you promotional communications about philbet bonuses, new game launches, and platform updates. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time via the unsubscribe mechanism in any marketing email.
- Legal Claims: To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims in connection with your use of the philbet Platform.
4 Legal Basis for Processing
philbet processes your personal data on the following legal bases under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and applicable Philippine law:
- Contractual Necessity: Processing required to perform the contract between you and philbet — i.e., operating your account and delivering the services you have registered for.
- Legal Obligation: Processing required to comply with philbet's obligations under PAGCOR regulations, the Anti-Money Laundering Act, the Data Privacy Act, and other applicable Philippine laws. This includes KYC verification, transaction record retention, and regulatory reporting.
- Legitimate Interests: Processing conducted to pursue philbet's legitimate interests in fraud prevention, platform security, service optimization, and responsible gaming monitoring, where such interests do not override your data subject rights.
- Consent: Processing for optional purposes such as marketing communications, where your explicit prior consent has been obtained. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
5 Sharing of Personal Data
philbet does not sell your personal data to third parties. We share personal data only in the following circumstances and only to the extent necessary:
- Payment Processors: GCash, PayMaya, BPI, BDO, Metrobank, Visa, Mastercard, and other payment service providers receive the data necessary to process your transactions. These providers are independently regulated and maintain their own data security standards.
- Game Providers: Licensed game suppliers — including but not limited to Evolution Gaming, Pragmatic Play, PG Soft, and JILI — may receive technical session data necessary to deliver game services. Game providers do not receive your identity documents or full financial details.
- KYC and Identity Verification Services: Third-party identity verification providers may process identity documents and liveness data on philbet's behalf for the purpose of KYC compliance. Such providers are bound by contractual data processing obligations.
- Regulatory Authorities: philbet is required by law to disclose certain player data to PAGCOR, the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), the National Privacy Commission, and other competent Philippine authorities upon lawful demand or as required by applicable reporting obligations.
- Legal and Professional Advisers: philbet's legal counsel, auditors, and compliance advisers may have access to player data on a need-to-know basis in connection with legal proceedings, regulatory audits, or compliance reviews. All such parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets involving philbet, player personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same protections as described in this Policy. Players will be notified of any such transfer that materially affects the handling of their data.

Essential Cookies: These are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. They maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and enable security features. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without preventing core Platform functionality.

Fraud Prevention Cookies: Certain cookies are used to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, including detection of multiple account registrations from the same device and identification of unusual betting patterns.
Marketing Cookies: Where you have consented to marketing communications, cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of philbet promotional campaigns. You may opt out of marketing cookies at any time through your browser settings or by contacting the philbet support team.
You may control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies will affect your ability to access and use the philbet Platform normally.

- Communications Records: Support communications are retained for three (3) years for quality assurance and dispute resolution purposes.
- Marketing Consent Records: Records of marketing consent are retained until withdrawn and for three (3) years thereafter as evidence of lawful processing.
